Ideas To Bring Out The Beauty Of Your Eyes

By Mary Dirk

A common phrase one may hear is that "The eyes are the windows to one's soul." It is true that the eyes have the important job of helping us to see, but they are also an added element of beauty for many women. Youthful and beautiful eyes add value to the face.

Here are some tips to help you achieve the maximum effect of beauty from your eyes.

Puffy eyes and dark circles beneath the eye are a growing concern for many women. To rid yourself of this problem you can take a sliced cucumber or potato and place it over the eyes or take ice cubes or an ice bag and do the same for several minutes each day. There are also good quality cosmetic creams that you can try in the form of roll-ons that are specifically designed to get rid of dark circles under the eye.

Getting a good night's sleep each and every night is also important. Premature wrinkles around the eye can make one look older than their actual years. A good anti-aging moisturizing cream is ideal for this particular problem and you can easily find them on the market.

Include the right amount of fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet that are rich in vitamins and minerals. Also, drink at least 8 glasses of water each day to help flush out dangerous toxins that can build up in the body. This will give you a healthy, glowing and more youthful appearance to your skin.

Keep your eyebrows shaped and trimmed. You can either trim or shape them to be thick or thin but it must fit your face.

Also, these make-up tips will help to enhance your eyes appearance. Applying a light concealer or foundation above the eyelid and below the eye will help to cover up dark circles and balance your face. The foundation used should be lighter than your actual skin color and your makeup should be kept simple to better show off your eyes.

Some things to avoid are dark colored eye shadows. You can apply a little bit of mascara to the lashes to bring them out and shape them and you can finish it off with applying eyeliner to complete your make-up regime.
